Did you even read the promo? Its 30% off a lens purchased with a camera. Not 30% off a camera by itself.

      what a fail for OP

      • Learn from fail ;)

    • Yes, I just read through. Thanks for adding. Any suggestion you could make? I am new with additional things, either lens or speedlights could you please recommend?

return all items, disconnect internet, go live in cave

If you are new then it is bit difficult.
First - if you are a starting amateur do not go with original speedlite. Go with something like Yongnuo. Kind of same thing, 5x cheaper.
Second - Lens - hard to advise if you don't know what you want to take pictures of.
Taking camera for holiday may range from drinking at XYZ where an old phone would be better, through action sport with GoPro through underwater photography to candid shots or great landscapes. For each of those you need different camera, not even lens.
If you are seriously getting into photography and you know which field do some research and buy the best glass for that purpose.
Why best glass? Better resell value (kit lenses loose value quickly and are usually not that great anyway). Also - it will stay with you for long - for several camera bodies.
That is the best advice I can give in a given situation.
If you are not into serious photography - try to return and buy some modern point and shoot. Most likely it will serve you better.

6.An “Eligible Product” is a standard body, single lens kit or double lens kit variation of any Canon Mirrorless or Canon DSLR camera.
7.An “Eligible Accessory” is any Canon EF, EF-S or EF-M lens or any Canon speedlite.
8.A Participant makes an “Eligible Purchase” when they purchase any new (not pre-owned) Eligible Product and Eligible Accessory together in the same transaction

So unfortunately if you've already bought the camera, it's too late to buy the accessory and get 30% back on it.

          Ouch - didn't noticed that.
Just when I was going to add another advice - purchase 24-70 or 70-200 and sell with great profit.

        • Thanks for details.
          ;)

        • @lai:

You'd still only get 30% back on the lens, not the body/kit.

      • Yes. Don't spend your money until you know what you're trying to do.

    Ouch!

  • Great… Actually… not yet.
To make it great you would need to purchase some really nice piece of glass to come with it. That is where the 30% comes in.
You can make a great purchase by buying one of the lens mentioned in the original post. Well over the budget for the camera and well above the camera's (and likely your's) abilities, but guaranteed they will stay with you (unlike the camera) almost forever.
With the TRS on the lens you would get an amazing price for any of those lenses. (but I think if it is over $1000 you are supposed to declare it coming back….?)

    How do you know that?

      From cashrewards.

      Time traveller!

  • So is this a good deal for this camera?

    • Ancient sensor technology but proven to be not too bad.
I'll go for Sony A6000 for this price range.

      • Thanks

      • You joking right? The Sony A6000 cost double the price of this camera. The Nikon D3400 is in this price range.
