    Waiting for a DEEP discount on end of run Grand Seiko, should be coming as they are now removing the SEIKO name off the watch face.

    I have purchased 2 x watches off these dudes, they are the real deal.

    My wallet thanks you for NOT doing a deal on a Citizen Wave GPS watch, we got close though :-)

        When Seiko gets the new models of Grand-Seiko stock with Seiko removed from watch face, history would say they want the oldies gotten rid off ASAP

    Great deal, I saw this model at the shops recently and it stood out in a good way which was a surprise.

    Can anyone give me a review on any watches you have that have mineral glass faces?

    I have a citizen with sapphire, 8 years old, been though 5 years of McDonald's and 3 years retail, and not one scratch on it!

    So any real life experience on the mineral glass that gets worn everyday? How does it hold up?

      My wife's Eco-Drives (3 bought from Starbuy) aren't old enough to comment on. Generally, sapphire crystal is superior.

      There was no indication of stock level. Somewhat paradoxically their email said "4 days only" and also "When they're gone, they're gone" which even I could have guessed, so I avoided declaring an expiry date.

    Have a look at the Seiko 5 collection. There's hundreds of models in the collection, varying from divers to dress watches, and everything in between. They have a bunch of pilot/field watches that not only look similar to this Citizen watch, but in my opinion, much, much better. They're also automatic instead of quartz, which is quite impressive for ~$60 - $150. An automatic day-date Swiss watch will cost you many, many hundreds of dollars. If you're not buying Rolex or Omega, always go with a Seiko.
