  • $2.50 for muffins?
    hows that a bargain?

    • +2

I pay full price for them often, they're good muffins and they're quite large. You can probably buy similarly priced muffins somewhere like the supermarket but I doubt they would be as good for $2.50. Costco has cheaper but they always seem to have the same plain flavours and are not as nice in my opinion.

They look like strange square muffins

  • Excludes savoury muffins

  • My local had 4 for $7 today! Just have had excess from yesterday.

  • I always wonder how profitable franchises like Muffin Break & Baker delight are? I meant how many muffins / drinks can you really sell a day, while making probably $2 profit per item. To make matter worse, 90% of their products are high perishable too

Yeah they usually have two muffins for six dollars around closing time all year round.

  • can u choose 4 different muffins then? or they are prepacked and chosen?

    • you choose

All the left overs. You don't usually get the ones you want.

        • +1

I have purchased the ones I wanted… its not left overs…

you can make purchase at the start of the day.. just after they have freshly baked them!

Given that you've not actually gone to a muffin break to check this deal out for yourself….your assumption is incorect…

  • I know these are not the same, but I always buy them on special $3.50/4 pack:

whatever happened to muffins for 99 cents each? In America they would be horrified to see muffins for $4.80 each!
That is so expensive. You get 500 grams of Turkey slices just $2.99 in America here $9.99

    • Good that they can save all of that money, as they will need it to put towards their private health insurance or first hospital bill.

    • Not only are muffins cheaper in America, but you get free bullets with them!

  • just look at these beautiful scented candles, why can't we have candles like that?

What do they do with unsold muffins when shop closes?

That's right put it together with tomorrow's stock and pretend it's fresh no one will know.

Sounds like an ok deal but at full price these are a bit of a rip off- I bought one when the new shop opened at Leichhardt market place because they looked tasty and big, but only the top is big. The muffin itself is quite small. Although, everyone knows that the best part of the muffin is the top

    • Yes the top of the muffin is the best the rest you can just throw it away.

Gainy bran ones are best eaten with no liquid whatsoever for 6 hours.
