Multi Cookers

Looking to buy a multicooker with both slow and pressure cooker functions. Myer and DJ's have some specials on at the moment so does anyone have any experience with the following or perhaps other options:

My budget is around $160 - $180.

    • Not sure if it has slow/pressure cooker function though.

      • I don't think this is a pressure cooker either.

          i bought a pressure cooker at aldi about 3 years ago. It had pressure cooker and slow cooker function. (But only heat setting for slow cooker, two pressure settings for pressure cooker.)

          this link from few years ago. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/146581

          You will have to wait till it is available. Still hasn't been on sale this year yet.

          @Savas:
          haha i posted it when i was young.

        • @Gimli: Aren't you glad it wasn't moved to WasBargain?

  • I bought this Breville offer last year and it's worked well: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/249844

    Sorry if this is one of your choices above, I can't view those pages here.

    I got one of these Phillips HD2137/72 cookers.

    • +1 I got mine via this deal. Worked out to $65 after cash back. I use it mainly as a rice cooker or pressure cooker at the moment. Not really into slow cooking but good to know it will do it when I need it.

  • I have the Tefal RK812 one. As a rice cooker it doesn't tell you how long it will take, it is hard to get the smell out of the bowl between cooking and the rissotto is more of a pilaf (crunchy at the bottom). On the plus side it does do a good stews and yogurt. There are also not a lot of recipes available for this cooker so I haven't used most of the functions so far.

    I would look at upping the price and investigating the Cook4me instead. Good guys had it for $299.
