Discount Discovery App for Groceries - Favourite Your Preferred Products & Find out When They're on Special

Hi everyone,

I'm building a discount discovery app for Android & iOS called SpotSave that lets shoppers do two key things:

Find any product from Woolies or Coles then add it to a product Watchlist which tracks price activity and generates optional notifications when it comes on special (with the ability to customise at what price level you want a notification).
Find the best store to buy your shopping list based on a comparison between the total cost at Woolies and total cost at Coles.

I would really like to hear what people think of this. How much use would you get out of such an app?

    Another idea. Perhaps if you could input a shopping list into the the app, and it would then work out for you which store each item was cheapest at, and generate seperate shopping lists for each store.

      It's a good idea and we have already been thinking of this functionality. Depending on user feedback we will implement this feature.
