Found out about a pretty decent deal happening at Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre in a couple of weeks to celebrate Mothers Day. Spend $100 at any Forest Hill Chase retailer in any number of transactions across any number of retailers excluding Coles, Woolworths and Aldi (other exclusions apply, see below for list) and validate your receipts at the Service Desk for a $50 Gift Card. According to the T&C's there is only 100 cards available on a first in, best dressed basis. All purchases and validating receipts to obtain the gift card must occur on the same day. Only one gift card per person per day. You can use the gift card at any Forest Hill Chase retailer that takes EFTPOS, including the supermarkets.

EXCLUSIONS:

• Coles, Woolworths and Aldi transactions
• Prescription medicine
• Bill payments
• Petrol
• Mobile phone recharge cards
• Lottery tickets
• Tobacco and tobacco related product purchases
• Mall leasing retailers (those "pop up" type retailers in the main walkways of the shopping centre)
• Receipts recording Layby payments except where a Layby is finalised and payment completed during the Promotion Period
• ATM or EFTPOS receipts
• Credit card or bank statements.
• Although not stated in the Terms and Conditions, it is mentioned on the promo page that Gift Card purchases are excluded also.

There are also free flower bouquets (100 available) up for grabs on May 14 only for spending $50 at any retailer (single or multiple transactions) and validating your receipt.

    There is nothing in the T&C's (http://www.foresthillchase.com.au/mothers-day-terms-and-cond…) about gift cards as long as it's not purchased from a supermarket so you should be able to do this.

      Wording on main promo page says this however "Spend $100 at any specialty store (excludes supermarkets, purchase of gift cards and payment of bills)"

        Might need to seek clarification from Forest Hill Chase themselves. Looks like they have forgotten to put the exclusion in the T&C's, however since they have mentioned the exclusion on the promo page, I doubt they will accept gift card purchases. I'll put this in the main post.

        They updated the T&Cs to be consistent with the webpage (ie, gift cards excluded)

  Good stores to purchase from include Big W and Target. I'll probably by a gift card from there and see what happens. Fingers crossed.

    They might classify that as a "bill payment" unfortunately. Considering they have banned mobile recharges, they might also consider topping up a Myki similar to this.

  Well, I'll be sure to spend 100 bucks in EB, return it five minutes later, and keep the receipt. Then, I'll go spend that 50 at TGI Fridays because they charge way too much for me to ever support their bullshit. Plus the food's not that good, the missus just loves them for some reason.

  It was over (exhausted) within 2hrs. Gift cards were excluded in the updated T&Cs.
