Yep.. seems like the old entries are in tact .. but you need to begin again with new entries/referrals.
does not make sense really, as you need to refer people with the new link for your old entries to be valid, and the new link pretty much gives you a ref code, then takes you back to the original comp (my understanding now is that ref codes on original comp page do not count anymore.. but other points do)
so….

to start with the new an improved link/comp I will restart the referral chain
