Called a few Big W stores late this afternoon looking for stock of the iPad Air 2 at $399, and was told I wouldn't find one anywhere. But, the gentleman at Box Hill told me they had the iPad Mini 2 16GB at the incredible price of $149. Was going to make my way there but just too far. So I called them back around 6:15pm as I thought I should post this on OzB and they confirmed there was still 12 in stock! If price shows at full retail, ask them to scan the iPad. Call (03) 8347 5800 and ask for Home Entertainment to confirm. Good luck, and be nice to each other in the store lol. If you score one, please say so in the comments. Enjoy :)

        Screen is no worse than this mini 2 that everyone is queuing up for. Before the air 2 i didn't hear anyone wishing their screen had lamination.

    Snagged one from Mt Gravatt, was the first one here at 7:15am and people slowly came. By the time the doors opened there was like 20 of us around the door!

        here is the guy i bought it from, ive fixed ipads before so i knew what i am doing, youtube this process if you are unsure of what you are doing, the most delicate part is being careful when you disconnect the touchscreen from the motherboard, if you rush this you will rip out the gold prongs on the motherboard causing the touch not to work full on the screen.

        also dont forget to tape up the area on both sides of the home button, youtube will show you how to fix this yourself. good luck

    Has anyone found any more?
    Was going to buy an extra for mother's Day back when this clearance started but have found iOS really slow to use through wi-fi and haven't set up apple account yet
    Am I just old and slow or is it worth hunting another down for family?
