EDIT - Band kit is Sold Out online, but still available in store. Guitar packs still available.

I love Rock Band 4 - one of my favourite party games for Xbone/PS4. I have the Complete band kit and an extra guitar, so we can have one person on lead guitar, one on bass, one on drums, and one singing. Lots of fun! These have been on sale before but never at prices these low (for $149 for complete band kit).

If you're holding out, it's worth buying now - Harmonix have effectively said they're not going to make another Rock Band retail game and that future developments will see more DLC and songs for the existing Rock Band 4 game. So it's possible these retail kits will become scarce.

The complete band kit is fairly unwieldy to carry so make sure you bring a shopping trolley. Alternatively, delivery is quite reasonable ($11 to Sydney, $20 to Hobart).

    For reference, I ordered the complete band kit for PS4 and was advised at checkout that Pick Up was not available. If I attempted to order just the guitar kit then Pick Up was offered. However delivery for the complete kit was only $8 to Brisbane so not an issue!

      If you want more than one person on guitar. I have the kit (drums+mic+guitar), and bought a guitar on its own so that it can be used as bass (or second person playing lead guitar).

        What I mean is the bandkit for $97 includes the guitar as well as the drum, microphone and game.

        Whereas the guitar on it's own is 139, unless you buy two, which makes it $45 each.

        I guess if you're not interested in the drums or microphone, it would be better to just buy two guitars.

    I bought the band kit for Xbox last one I could find in sydney 2 weeks ago. It's awesome fun playing when friends come over. My 8 yr old is also learning drums at school so it's good practice for him. Well worth the price

      yep they all use the same accessories the only difference between consoles the S doesn't have a kinect port, you'll have to get an adaptor for that.

      i noticed that kit too , it only has rockband 4 and not the rivals addon download code. And unfortunitly $40 more too.

      I ended up getting two guitar packs for $90 on xbox one , delivery was $7.50. :)

    PS4 Rival Kit isn't sold out in Sydney area (for online ordering). I just bought it and it said delivery by May 5th 2017.

    Looks like Pickup is unavailable, probably trying to clear their warehouse stock.

    Getting a bargain there, I got the guitar + game bundle on the Xbox a few months back when they were being reduced back then. I have the full band kit for the original game from the late 2000's (one of the few "trade in" victories I had, trading in a bunch of cruddy games… but getting way more value for them than I should have). And as mingofmongo said a trolley does come in handy to wheel it around once you've purchased the kit. I love the guitar hero/rock band games over the years, I'd jump at the chance at getting the full bundle again…… but my pattern of use dropped after only using the full kit a handful of times on the X360. I gradually went from using the drums, the guitar, to just the microphone. I wound up buying the Logitech wireless guitar and used that for the GH/RB games from that point onward.

    This is a killer deal though, encourage anyone even mildly interested to go for it and enjoy :)

    Are they the real electric drum / guitars or just controllers?
    Are the xbox one kits compatible with xbox 360?

      No, not real. Guitar has no strings and is silent. The Xbox ones are effectively guitar-shaped Xbox controllers.

    fair bit of mucking around to find a ps4 complete band kit in store around where I live ( epping vic). Eventually got one from Craigeburn EB games. Hope my 10 yr old son and 5 yr old daughter will enjoy it with me after all the efforts

      It's the previous version (if you're taking about the $137 kit). Doesnt include the Rivals dlc but apart from that includes the same bits. Guitar is a different model (fender Stratocaster instead of fender jaguar)
