    JUST THE TIP

      πŸ”¦πŸ† πŸ’¦ πŸ‘…

      • Is that what a meatgasm looks like?
p.s. I think you're meant to rinse it off, not lick it clean.

      That's what she said.

  • NOTE: This product will not be shipped to the United Kingdom.

Can anyone think of a reason?

    • +2

      Enough d.cks there already?

    • I instantly thought of vat.
Prob not the reason as I think the customer might pay on pick up?

Maybe they just don't like Poms..

    • I remember reading that Nitecore wants people in the UK to use their UK based dealers rather than ordering from overseas.

      http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?427890-Ar…

    • I heard that the post offices over there refuse to let you have your item until you pay a VAT ransom. I almost thought we were due to have that here until i saw that they've left GST off physical item imports at this stage.

    • Nitecore said they are not aloud to sell them in the UK because there is an official re-seller/distributor in the UK already.

  • 2017 model come with the key and usb port cover.

Thanks OP- just bought my second one of these, after the last deal in late December: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/284827

They are fantastic! Great for the outdoors-very compact and really really bright for such small size..

    • $8 cheaper too… makes me wonder whether it's worth waiting for a more comparative deal.

    • .
me too :) I also got 2 in that deal and like it so much got another in this deal so thanks again to meatgasm

  • FYI - there is a brighter version 360lm vs 220lm but doesnt have the high cri value for accurate colors for photography/videos etc

    Select Cree XP-G2 S3 6500K

    Actually code IS NOT WORKING

  • I have the basic version of this light (I forget the name) and its a great concept. Much lighter on my keychain than the Fenix E01 It replaced and much more versatile than the "disposable" keychain lights.

It may seem expensive but as a light you will EDC (everyday carry) it might get more use than most torches you may own.

  • apparently there is a v1 of this with a lock out bug causing massive parasitic drain. Someone asked GB in the products FAQ page if this is v1 or v2 and they didn't acknowledge or understand the question properly. So maybe you will get a v1 from them….

    • It looks like this is the V1 version. The V2 version is Labelled as the 2017 version and comes with a physical clip attachment. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to buy the clip seperately soon though.

  • How long does it usually take to ship from gearbest never bought from them before

    • Long enough that you usually forgot you ordered anything by the time you recieve the package, unless you put in a few extra dollars for a faster shipping option.

A present for future self from present self

  • looks like the code expired :(

  • I ended up going to Banggood and getting the normal TIP for $32.50 with code NCPRO. it's brighter and they guarantee you won't get a v1 with the parasitic drain bug.

  • Probably a silly question, but how do these ones compare to the similar looking Nitecore keychain lights that are <$10?

    • +1

      Way brighter.

I cant rationalize it, since light perception is rather subjective, but if a tube just dimly barely lights up something 4m awy, the Tip has no problem illuminating it fully.

      • the small nitecores are max 40 lumens. perceived brightness varies with the square root of lumens. so 360 lumens is 9 x 40 so 3 times brighter.

      • Cool, thanks mate. My cheapo one kicked the bucket after around a year of faithful service. Considering picking up one of these but the one downside I can see is no cover on the micro usb port
