Shipping Service from USA to Sydney for Amazon Purchases

My fellow Ozbargainers!,

I need to buy a few bits and pieces from Amazon but they are not available for shipment to Australia.

Do you have any recommendations for a "buying and shipping service"? Somewhere I can get the bits and pieces shipped to, for on-shipping to me?

Thanks so much for reading this.

If everything you are buying is from Amazon, try and get Amazon to ship all or as many articles together, otherwise you may be up for consolidation costs.
Check before ordering what can (and can't) be forwarded) sizes, weight, dimensions and Import Costs if over $1000.

    I'd suggest http://priceusa.com.au/

yep, these guys get my vote too. Shipped a bag recently from the US, cost me $12 to get it here (free shipping from Amazon to the Shipito address thanks to Prime). Australia Post wanted $30 something, PriceUSA requires too much work to just get a quote

    Try bigapplebuddy.com

Try MyUSA - their shipping charges are based on actual weight, and not the dimensional weight, of the shipment. The difference can be quite dramatic for light, bulky items. Check it out - the formula is (H x W x D)/5000

    • I bought stuff. Shipping calculator said $59.90.

Looked at my Paypal statement and they charged me $100.90.

Worked out I am paying AUD35 per kg for shipping.

  • I have used Stackry… They are based out of some state without sales tax which helps lighten the blow.
