Please Suggest Cheap Barber in Perth City or Suburbs

QC Barber, where I always go, in Raine Square, Perth ($15 adult, $12 senior) is closing in 2 weeks time due to redevelopment of the building.

Can anyone suggest a similarly priced or cheaper barber anywhere in Perth city or suburbs? Distance is not a problem because I am a senior and I get free public transport. We are always looking for "exotic" destinations to go to by bus or train.

Quality is not a major issue. I always get a #3 all over. I don't think they can mess that up.

  • I always go to Salon Express. Should be about that price for a razor job like yours, especially with seniors discount ($19 or so for mine which involves razor and scissors, non-senior discount).

OK sorry maybe not $12 but closer to the $15 mark for seniors I'd guess, but call and find out

There are some $10 places popping up, Mirrabooka has one located close to Big W.

  • I thought QC went up to $17!

skip the 'barber' buzz word out now.
    go to a hair dressers.

There's a place called Quick Cuts in the Park Centre in Vic Park that did $10 haircuts last time I went about 2 years ago.

Here's the perfect one for you:

Bayswater Barber Shop, it is about 100m from Bayswater Station, and advertises $10 haircuts (but probably they have written "from" in front of the $10 in a font too small to read by human eye).

Disclaimer: I have never used them but I drive past them frequently.

Get off at the station, head towards the Bayswater hotel, and just round the corner is Beechboro Road; the barber is at 15 Beechboro Rd. S.

There are some quirky shops (eg. "That Little Cheese Shop") back on the Whatley Crescent side of the railway, so you may have some fun exploring those.
