Locating Cheap Fares to Anywhere in Europe

How is this done? If I search many websites, they want me to enter a country. But I don't mind what country if I can get a cheap fare there, then get a cheap connecting flight to where I want to go.

Also, for example when I search skyscanner for flights, it doesn't seem to include all airlines like Scoot, which have recently started flying to Athens.

So anywhere to check all of Europe for certain dates? Or does anyone know which countries are typically cheaper to fly in to?

  • Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities in central Europe. This metropolis overflows with hotels and eateries that offer travelers a true taste of Hungarian life without exhausting their credit cards.
That is where you want to be.

I don't think there is any site that allows such a search.
Best bet is to keep an eye on OzB for sales.

  • get a cheap flight to KL and then find a cheap flight from KL or Sinagpore to Europe.

Air Asia has flight from Syd to KL from $220

I just did a search then on skyscanner for flight KL<—>Paris and QATAR air came up at $805 return.

    $1025 return sydney/paris

Generally the cheaper ports seem to be paris, amsterdam, london (high fees but so much competition)

  • Sky scanner lets you put in everywhere as a destination

As unclesnake said, SkyScanner and Momondo let you put in anywhere as a destination. Not that the prices are ever accurate, but it can give you an idea.

If you're just trying to get there cheap and you don't mind the journey for the heck of it I'd love to see you try some of the tricks I've never had a chance to try. The savings normally only apply with carry on only and even then it might not be worth it for the torture involved unless you have a specific month you want to travel.

Imagine going Sydney-Manila-Dubai-Romania/Hungary return for $700 on Cebu Air/Wizz combinations. Dubai is expensive but they have airbnb I suppose (I've never slept there and don't know if being forced to spend a night is worth it). Or trying out those new Norwegian Air flights to London and Norway from Singapore after getting there on a Scoot and Norwegian special.

  • thai air with their birthday sale to europe $1070 would be a better option as it includes cost of food and bags and a stop over in bkk
