For existing flybuys members you might have received the deal in your Inbox.
For others who havent opted for email communication you can still awail of 24cents off per litre at Coles express

Step 1: Activate the deal by clicking on the link you might have got in your email or logging into your flybuys account and clicking on activate deal, you get 10c off with this one

Step 2: Purchase some groceries at the normal Coles and get the fuel docket that gets you 4c off

Step 3: Spend $20 in Coles express store and get extra 10c off(this part is tricky as there isnt anything cheap and worthwhile buying in Coles express other than milk)

I combined the first two and got 14c off per litre.

    Milk and bread are $2 each- same price as coles. Stores usually have a clearance section with some bargins. Pies and sausage rolls are $2.50 for a cheap lunch. Magazines are same price if you buy those.

      They had this two weeks ago and you didn't have to spend $50. Cause I like to save and gloat I will share the following.

      $20 in store 4x milk, 1/2 price box of m&m peanuts $5, 1/2 price sesame bars $1 x 2, 1/2 price fruit tingles $1x5.

      I filled 150 litres so it all effectively cost $5.

      :-)

      Hope they have a similar offer in three months when I fill up again.

        how do you fill 150 litres I wonder? Can you fill up multiple cars or fuel tanks? I thought they won't count it as one and give you the discount on that?

      AH quite. I was reading the post headline, the steps & assumed they'd gotten 24c off. But youre right they did step 1) & 2) only. step 3) is only speculation that you'll get 24c off.

  I normally get Toilet Roll x 2 for $20. The price is the same as what you would pay at a Coles store.

  I was pulling my hair our trying to work out where OP got his $50 spend from. Eventually, I worked it out. $20 at the Coles Express at the same time as the spend on fuel and $30 at a Coles Supermarket to get the fuel docket. As I need to buy groceries, I regard this as a sunk, past cost. I would not normally buy groceries from Coles Express, so I don't regard that expenditure as sunk. I'd have been happy if OP had described it as 24 cents off with Flybuys deal, fuel docket and $20 in-store spend.

  Would be worth it if Coles express wasn't around 24c per litre more expensive than the cheapest servo on the daily anyway
