Help with a Cheap Mechanical Keyboard

Recently I bought a Corsair Brown K70 RGB keyboard. So I took my old Razer Blackwidow Tournament (1st gen) to work, to replaced the Apple keyboard I got from work which hurts my fingertip. Today, I have been told by my boss that someone complained about my keyboard. :(

I don't want to spend too much on keyboards, any recommendation for a cheap mechanical keyboard under $70? Prefer brown or red switch, and not something like this.

Thanks.

Have you considered buying a pack of o-rings? These go under each key which minimises the noise when the key hits the bottom. Dunno which type of cherry keys the razer has so chances are it'll still click.

    • blues, so there is still going to be noise.

    • I tried o-rings, but it didn't work well.

    • Razer has new switches!

  • have a look on aliexpress

I have been told by my boss that someone complained about my keyboard

    Why?
I use a Cherry MX Blue keyboard at work, i feel it gives ambiance to the workplace.

    • Exactly! That's what I thought!

    • your ambience* isn't desired nor requested.

Time for (suggestion of) a RSI injury, then your boss won't care how much noise your keyboard makes.
