  • Hi Rep,

When are May-June 2018 HK and European early bird fares released.

    Thanks!

    • Generally January-March or so.

      • Thanks!

  • hey rep does that allow stopover at HK (at 1 or both legs)?

    • Yes. Extra cost usually cos of Passenger Departure Fee of 30-40 ish from experience.

      • ic…thanks mate…was hoping this would allow for it…

  • When's late September to early October 2017 likely to be on sale, if it would. TY

      Waiting for same myself.

  • isn't it normally this price? i book sydney to shanghai return at around 600ish with cathay all the time march - may period

Good deals for a full service airline. Why on earth would anyone bother with AirAsia, Jetstar, various dubious Chinese carriers if even the pathetic non-customer-oriented QF?

Well said… especially the Qantas bit 👍🏻

  • I find the food, comfort, service, good, but not remarkable on Cathay. I'm not really sure how they get their 4th best rating. Perhaps the business class is amazing?

Anyway, despite this, their "open jaw" policy is probably the best in Asia, so for that reason alone I invariably end up flying them more than anyone else.
