        What a terrible sweeping statement from a rep.

        Make sure your amplifier can handle the power required (should not be too hard), ALSO, make sure your amplifier can take 4 ohm/ 6 ohm speakers.

        Otherwise you risk overheating.

    • Particle board enclosure?
    • 60W output? - most likely peak rather than RMS
    • The speaker cones look like they are coated with plastic, beware of any speakers that look like a chrome bumper :P - this will never enhance performance, and only serves the purpose of making them look 'flashy' (so you focus on looks rather than performance)

    $49 would be the normal price for these speakers, i reckon :)
