Any Business Shirts with Pockets still sold?

I prefer my work business shirts to come with a pocket - except for Glowweave or having them tailor made is there anyone out there aware any of the shelf products?

Others here. But depends on what you think is business. Look at bottom for chambray and cotton gingham.

At Charles Tyrwhitt you can add a pocket to any business shirt as far as I can see.

Their non-iron shirts are also excellent. They are really non-iron.

I disagree. even after getting them out of the washing machine promptly shaking them and hanging them to dry on a hanger - i still need to go over with an iron.

      • Same for me. Really want to know how to get them completely non-iron.

The instructions on the shirt say to tumble dry on low temperature before hanging them on a hanger.

I haven't tried this as I don't wanna risk shrinking. Have you tried using a tumble dryer?

I'm poor and cannot afford a tumble dryer. >_>

        • @dasher86: haha i totally get this. Got a decade or more old tumble dryer that I can't afford to run unless its my birthday.

That is BS about their non-iron shirts.

      I read the label.

      cotton -95%
      polyester -4%
      iron - 1%

Charles Tyrwhitt who sells online but I think also at DJ's? There are regular discount codes that bring their shirts under $40. I think a pocket is a $5 extra option.

  • Lowes.

  • A lot still have pockets last time I checked…can I ask what you need the pocket for?

  • I generally buy from Target (or Kmart, I think), and they have a mix between pocket and no pocket.

Sorry, I'm one of those bastards that have led to the decrease of demand in a shirt with a pocket.

most business shirts do have a front pocket. its the dress shirts that dont.

    • I think slim-fit = no pocket, normal = pocket (in a few brands)

  • many thanks for all the responses - maybe its a Canberra thing where NONE in the shops come with pockets! Will follow up these excellent links. PS its for my phone - can't stand having it in my pants pockets.

  • Myers had quite a few Van Huesen and a couple of others so stocked up.
