TV Show Audience Member Requests

Hi OzB'ers,

I went to Top Gear Australia filming and I liked it. The stuff that happened off screen was probably funnier than what happens on screen in TGA :P

I want to get into more TV Show Audiences because I think TV is a fascinating industry and this gives you a very behind the scenes look into the practices and what they do so it looks like magic on our end.

If anyone knows of how to get these types of tickets (preferably free and must be within Greater Sydney).

    I've been to the chaser*, and i've had friends who have been to ready steady cook and funniest home videos. I think it's just a matter of sending an email to the right address. None of us paid for the tickets.

    I went to the Top Gear filming on 1/09/2010. Honestly i was a little disappointed. Standing around for 4hours amd only a lambo to look at. I think the UK one would much more worth while

      Hahaha I was at that one too! Yeah it was a little long winded, but it was definitely an experience. Yes I would have loved to go to Top Gear UK (I tried when I was over there, but it wasn't even filming at the time) and I probably wouldn't go to Top Gear Au again, but I would definitely like to see some other shows :)

      Also we probably wouldn't have this problem with live shows. All in all I am glad I went, but I probably wouldn't go the second time.

      Also: that lambo was sweet :)

        I also looked into the UK Top Gear audience thing. Unfortunately, tickets are issued like a raffle. You have to be there for the entire afternoon and it's miles outside of London so you really need a car to get there. I did go to one TV show at the BBC studios - I got given a ticket to the chat show Parkinson when they had the Dr Who (Tennant) guy on.

        But I have no idea about TV shows here, have only seen Rove and that's finished now.
