or just buy the new ipod nano?

    • isn't the whole point of this site to help people to not get ripped off?

and that's not an fm transmitter inside the nano.. just a normal radio.

  • This guy sells OEM versions for a little under AUD$26 (shipped). "OEM" may be a euphemism for factory returns though.

    • Looks like a different model.

      • Yeah it does actually….perhaps an older model.

  • If you want a cheap alternative I suggest buying one off deal extreme. I got one for $7.50 and it plays my iphone in the car perfectly and also charges. was considering an itrip but $80 is a rip compared to this which does the same job.

  • It's not the branding or the build quality that is the problem with FM transmitters, it's the fact they keep fading out when you drive somewhere different and pick up a new station.

    • Yes, driving across Sydney you have to keep changing the frequency every 10-20 minutes…hopeless irrespective of brand. Probably OK for regional areas with few FM stations.

      • Very true if you live in sydney…
Better off buying a cheap headunit with aux/ipod input.

  • Well stay still then…
