    any bargains?

    • -1

Hi Matt-97, all the City Minifigures are effectively 25% off the regular listed price, plus free shipping. I hope that's a bargain for some! We'll have other deals across our other themes from time to time, such as Superheroes and Star Wars etc, so hopefully other bargains to suit other LEGO fans. Thanks for following :)

At OzBargain the description area is your shop window. You know what your best bargains are. Invest 3 minutes adding example bargains, each with price and direct link. I suggest at least 4 but nobody minds you adding 20 or 30. Your 'edit' button is between 'view' and 'revisions'.

          Sales, Catalogues and Stores
          People generally value their time.

If you know there is a good bargain or two in a sale, catalogue or store, it's a good idea to … provide direct links where possible, to those items.

If there are multiple bargains in the same sale, catalogue or store, it is still advisable to post once only. Then multiple items can be listed in the same posting; probably with what looks to be the best or most popular bargains at the top.

$7.95 is incredibly expensive for a Lego minifigure, especially a generic. $5.95 is on par with a blind bag RRP, but can be found cheaper. Not really a deal, in my opinion.

      It's not $7.95, it's 25% off!

      • So, something usually 25% more expensive than other providers is considered a deal when it's 25% off?

        • Actually, it's more like 33% more expensive than other providers.

Pretty sure all of these can be obtained from Bricklink at a cheaper price.

And you can get them for free by shoplifting them.

    • Hi Ronnknee, thanks for following. You will notice that each one of those has extra fees & charges, such as postage costs, packaging fees etc. We like to be completely upfront with our costs, which is the cost of the Minifigure only. No additional fees or postage costs. So in most instances, the $5.95 cost posted is cheaper than your Bricklink options.

    • Pretty sure you need to factor in postage, which you didn't. Bricklink always looks gold, till you get the price plus postage invoice.

      • -1

So if I buy 2 of the so-called discounted minifigs, will he post them separately? Since postage is "free" no? If he posts them together, do I get a further discount?
If you know your LEGO and BrickLink, the postage cost is expensive only if you buy 1 item, most people buy a few items to combine and save on postage.

      • +1

Postage realistically is only $1 (at most $2 if you're gonna argue about the letter size and padding). Still cheaper than OP's discounted prices.

  • $7.95 for a generic minifig from the City line? You can get it from BrickLink at less than that, even without the so-called 25% discount!

No OzBargain to be had here.

  • What do you guys mean generic?
    Aren't they Lego brand?

    • +1

Generic as in the parts can be pieced together from other sets, unlike licensed minifigs like those from Star Wars of Super Heroes, where the prints are unique to the said character.
