Good luck finding stock anywhere other than those stores.

    • Any cheap flights to Queensland? Looking for one of these shavers.

Already mentioned in TRENT86's thread along with other HN deals

I believe this is at TGG as well but for $10.

I have this one as does half of ozbb's men. Its worth about $6.59!

Fine for a morning after a close shave but for say two days growth, it'll start pulling skin etc.

Keep one in my car's glove box

      • I use it as a 'finisher'. It does actually do a very close shave but you have to have very low stubble for it to work.

I have that $10 Phillips for the 'rough' work, if I'm in a mood for electric.

        • The cheap Phillips shaver I received is next to useless. It's just too weak. The same batteries give twice the power on this Braun compared to the Phillips.

        • So would you say it gives you that five o'clock shadow look?

    • So you think it's worth as much as manual razor? Stop exaggerating

  • I this online only or can purchase in store?

This is a dupe. Already posted.

Could you please show us where else this deal is posted in the title for it to be considered a duplicate?

Was previously $6 at Woolies https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/84281

Also, gold was $150/oz 40 years ago.

        hahaha…. you're not wrong! He's linked to a price from 5 years ago! :)

This is a fair comment, as easternculture usually comments on other member's posted deals about something being cheaper in the past.

Had one of these for a while, was okay but left my facial hair REALLY unevenly cut. A pair of proper hair clippers (like hairdressers use) with the blade guard off does a much better job, something like this:

    • I found this Braun to be pretty much useless for me.
Thanks for the link, how much is that Remington kit normally? Looks like a good deal. So you use one of those clippers with no blade guard to shave your face with good results?

    • I bought that Remington kit…it's worth a post in itself at $12 C&C or $18 delivered. The cheapest anywhere else is $24 plus delivery. So it's a bargain, hopefully it's decent quality. Thanks again for the link.

  • Wow for under $7 also made in Germany like the braun electric brushes, I mean their brand. This is a steal.

    • This electronic shaver is made in Germany?

Amish boy in the grip of seduction
Electrical superstore with the price reduction
Electric big trimmers in the bargain bin
It would be so easy he could fit right in
He picks one up but then he hears the sound
He puts it back and then he turns around
    And he hears

    No beard no good.

  • From some user reviews, it looks like this shaver isn't good for those who have got thick hair so beware as it might be a waste of money for some still.

    • +1

I got it from a previous deal for $10. I don't have a thick or full beard and this shaver is next to useless. I tried it once on a one day growth from a clean shave with a proper razor. It's been in the cupboard ever since.

  • It's gotten very poor reviews here… I think I'll resist the bargain urge this time.
