  • 15 speed? Wow. Haven't seen a 5 speed rear derailleur advertised on a new bike before. Back to the future?

I might upgrade from my 10 speed.

It's almost funny that Harvey Norman who screwed Australian manufacturers out of business is selling Huffy which was once a decent American bike before Walmart screwed them to the point they are now owned by the Chinese.

      sorry what?

huffy was once a professional BMX bike company that made bikes that were mostly above $1000 in price.

huffy was once a professional BMX bike company that made bikes that were mostly above $1000 in price.

They also made cheaper bikes that were sold through Walmart and were quality American made bikes until Walmart screwed them. Now the brand has gone the way of many and been picked up by Chinese manufacturers who use the previous good name to sell. JVC is an example of this in the TV market.

Harvey Norman used to sell a lot of Australian made quality furniture and cabinets but they screwed many of the manufacturers until they closed down and replaced them with cheap rubbish from China that they sold at similar prices with massive profits at the customers expense.

  • Decent enough to ride around some flat gravel tracks with?

  • Colour described as Gloss Metallic Purple.
Picture is of a white bike…

  • this looks like for a tiny adult or big kids :)

  • I'm looking at this as an inexpensive bike for my 9 year old, is this a unisex bike? Last thing I'd want to do is get him a girls bike accidentally.

    • You see the lower bar next to the seat? It's a girls bike for when they wear dresses.
