        Yeah that one. Last time the BG rep was on here they said they'd stop manufacturing those ones because these new ones are better. Well I'm sorry but I don't consider it to be better just because it's newer. Having reversible plugs on both ends however…

          Ah yeah, just noticed they are all sold out. Reversible plugs seem like a much better solution, but was there a quality issue? I thought I read that they broke easily.

          @Master Baiter: Mine definitely haven't and I've used them a fair bit. Only issue is the glue for the little metal slip over the plug comes loose and the metal falls off. Doesn't affect use or durability at all though. I just glued mine back on,

          Some other brands with reversible heads break easily, I've gone through like 3 comsol ones but these have held up for a solid 2 years no issues

    I have a galaxy s7 edge with a Samsung fast charger. Most USB cables I plug in charge at normal speed, but I used to have one which would charge at the fast speed (and say so on my phone).

    Does anyone know what spec to look out for to ensure it works with fast charging?

    The 'ampcore' range seems to be higher quality and only $0.82 more.
    8,000 vs 5,000 bend lifespan AND it can tow a car (essential for my USB cables!)

      The Ampcore one has a slightly smaller diameter power line through it (22AWG vs 21 in the normal) but that makes zero difference on output. Same data speeds, same max output, same length. Only difference is the Ampcore is a little thicker and will have more bends like you stated and doesn't come with the tape strap thingo.

      I think the ampcore is the newer version of these. It seems they made a design change on the rubber part where the cable comes out of the connectors. I've been using a few BW-MC1s over the past few months and all of them have started fraying at that part, Blitzwolf probably recognised the design flaw.
