Too expensive.
INIU 2 Pack 100W USB C to USB C Cable, 2M
These are 2 for $12.69.[amazon +prime for free delivery)

I am using these for more than a year and still going strong.Usually there is deal that brings it to 10.39 AU$ or less too
That is right.
I use and like these INUI 2 pack cable too, as well as the 240W 2 x 2m Lisen cables too,
but sometimes you only have one USB C port but 2 devices to be charged……
If only the Anker was below $15 then I would purchase.
The split cables are 2 for $48 on Amazon.
Buying just one costs slightly more per unit compared to this offer, but you're covered by Amazon if it stops working.
With eBay, once the return window closes, you’re pretty much on your own if anything goes wrong.Gimmick
Does this work like most PD chargers, where if you unplug one or plug one in while the other is already charging, it stops the other from charging temporarily while it re-negotiates the power?
Good question, might also depend on the charging tech it's plugged into.
Is that really a big issue for regular charging ? (serious question) ?
Is the reason why this cable is expensive, because it has a USB-C PD trigger in the middle of the Y, and then it can offer separate PD charges to each of the two devices?
If so, then it would seem like you'd be best to say so.
If not, then I can't see why it ought to be so expensive.
That's one hell of an expensive cable
