Madden NFL worth the money for a new player? Never played a NFL game before, and dont really know the rules of the game either.
Definitely worth it for Madden. I bought my first Madden game over 10 years ago without knowing anything about the sport, absolutely love the series now. The Gauntlet feature is great, I wish other sports games had it.
As per usual, it looks like the Australian store sale prices for the next sale (starting tomorrow) have stealthily gone live at the same time as EU.
Canspend has already scraped the new discounts by the looks of it. Nothing in there that blows my mind personally, but it's not the worst sale there's ever been.

ps prices is another great alternative, it has prices for literally all the PS regions and you can get browser notifications, email alerts, facebook alerts.
Madden and NHL no brainers at that price.
Paid $50 for Madden a while back and NHL for $25 recently - don't regret either purchase.
I loved Madden and NHL when they were more casual in their approach, like 15 years ago. I tried a Madden recently and found it too technical. What is a modern NHL like?
NHL had some interesting controls compared to last time I'd played it on ps2 (probably 15 years ago), but pretty easy to pick up after a few games.
Is an option to simplify back the controller profile if you just want the nostalgia trip without the technical bs.
