      What's wrong with black.

      That's racist!

It very clearly says Blue on the front of the microphone.

Dumb comment so you can't edit.

        • @TightBottom:

          Wut?

I don't need to edit, I was done with that comment :)

          German for yes

        • Come to think of it wasn't it a series of Suzuki Jimni?

    • Well it is more than 10% if you add or remove shipping costs.

Decent microphone, not sure if it's worth the price, I'm sure there's better.

Edit: You can get it cheaper on Amazon http://i.imgur.com/VsjC20G.png

64mb ram, USB 1.0…. Might have to upgrade my Pentium 1.

    • Get an i3 or an i5 if you are planning to upgrade.
Imo i7 is overkill for most people so ends up being a waste of money.

      • +5

        Yeah Esp for a Mic.

      • I wouldn't be so sure… . With an i5 you could probably only power roughly 3000 mics. With an i7 you have the option to at least double that amount. Don't sell yourself short.

        • Lol if you are broden…

  • That's huge for a mic!

    • condensors are big

  • What's funny about this mic is that it's pretty much unchanged from its release in what… 2005?? No tech lasts that long lol.

At the time I got it, USB was good but I outgrew it quickly (couldn't put it on a mixer board), and at the time the software kind of sucked - it was either too quiet or too noisy and you couldn't fiddle with levels too much on it.

Quality wise though it's good and that tripod it comes with is very adjustable and good

    • Better than Blue Yeti?

If you’re on a budget, you can’t lose with the Snowball. It’s a great mic and I’ve recorded a ton of quality screencasts, podcasts, and voiceovers with it. However, if you have a little extra room in your budget the Yeti is worth every penny and more.

    great mic definitely recommend :)
Bought one when it was around $120

  • I was going to grab this today (31/05/2017) and they have not yet received it in shipment, but are hoping it'll be in Friday at the latest. I instead picked up the Yeti under VIP and am LOVING IT! This one is as many have said just a model below the Yeti, so you can expect some great stuff with this mic (or if you have an amazing friend in jb hifi, ask them to VIP the Yeti, you wont be disappointed either way)

Also they have 5 stock coming into the Marion SA store by road transit. Care to update?
