    You pair it with your garage door receiver unit. Easy to do (I've done it myself in the past) lots of Youtube videos or go through instructions manual for more info :)

  I could be wrong, but usually you teach the garage door opener to sense the new remote rather than the remote learning anything.

      my two B&D compatible remotes arrived today. THey don't work with the motor I have: even though the Kogan page for the remote says that my model and remotes are compatible. I have contacted Kogan for instructions on how to get my refund.

  Note, this is not compatible with EVO models or remotes with Merlin+2.0 written on the front. They typically sell for a lot more.

    I assume this would be for fixed code garage doors and not for use with rolling codes doors. Buyer should be aware of what type of garage door controller they have. Merlin 2.0+ uses rolling codes, anything prior with merlin uses fixed, iirc.

  Not really a bsargain. You can buy these for under $10 delivered on eBay.

  Purchased one for a green Merlin remote and it works perfectly. Very easy to program and supports up to two different doors/codes. Remote has two buttons per door. Big button for opening the door, smaller button for toggling the light on and off.

    Correct, you can, I bought two of the fixed code, exactly the same as this one, off ebay, for $4.76AU delivered. If you don't mind it taking a few weeks to get here of course.

  Damn, you got me excited. It should really read "Merlin and B&D Compatible Garage Door Remote". I have two garage doors, one Merlin and one B&D, and there's no one remote to rule them all.

  I paid for 3 and they arrived today. The battery is flat on one of them and the other two won't pair with my Controll a Door P Diamond motor.

  I rang Kogan and they are organizing a return and replacement.

  Not holding my breath.
