Up & Go Liquid Breakfast 6 Pack for $5.00 @ Coles + $10 Rebel Sport Voucher

920

At the moment Coles has Up and Go 6 packs for $5.00 a 6 pack.

Inside the boxes is a voucher for $10 at Rebel Sport as shown here.

The vouchers can be used for a maximum of $50, so basically you spend $25 on these drinks and get $50 at Rebel Sport.

There was a similar deal posted earlier for the week bix biscuits however this is perfect for anyone like me who is not necessarily a fan of those and prefers the liquid breakfast up and go.

Vouchers can be claimed here http://www.upandgo.com.au/.

      Isn't that what 50cent posted?

Make sure you read FAQ before redeeming…

    https://www.upandgo.com.au/rebel/faqs/

Some important 'rules' there about how and when you can redeem…

Thanks jv. That was actually useful

      • +7

Yes, it's a good read. They should release an audio-book.

        • +1

Its better read than the song of ice and fire books :)

        • +1

I think you missed the emphasis on the work 'actually' :P

  • The biscuits aren't that great so I got some if these today can only put one code in per day by the way

  • +3

Make sure the sticker has the Rebel voucher promo. Some types of Up n Go aren't eligible.

  • +1

Reminds me of when I used to take these to school and wait until lunch to drink them, nice and warm. Good times.

    • Yes and no. They're not on sale in that post.

      • Ah yup, fair enough.
I bought 3 of these 6-packs on Saturday.. have $30 sitting waiting to redeem. But since you can only redeem a gift card once per account, I will wait another 1-2 weeks until I get an extra $20 and redeem the full $50.

I cant understand the economics of this deal.. how can they afford to offer it ?
The product is on sale below RRP, and the gift card balance to use at a 3rd party is 200% of the value of the Up&Go purchase.
So $25 spent on Up&Go gives you around $30 worth of Up&Go (at RRP when not on sale) plus $50 of Rebel Sports gift cards, which are almost as good as cash if you planned on buying something there anyway.

First, they probably don't pay full price to Rebel for the vouchers (since Rebel gets some marketing benefit as well).

Second, they most likely still make a profit @ half price consider the products get discounted regularly.

Any shortfall is just a marketing cost, no difference to paying for TV advertising.

        • Everyone one has a marketing budget to promote themselves. Otherwise they wouldn't get any business. Rebels would be millions. I would say they covers a lot of the cost

        • Can only claim one code per day, as such, get claiming now!

        • +1

@FabMan: I have already claimed 3 codes over 3 days. I need to buy more to claim the extra $20. And then redeem for a gift card.

  • KINDERLING $20 off $100 spend

What if they pick stock without the promo stickers?

      • Could you exchange the product in-store?

      • The clumsiest people work for Coles online. They always stuff up my orders in particular flavors and product types. Wouldn't be surprised if they packed orders with old stock or even peeled off the voucher to use for themselves.

If not for these promo codes I really wouldn't bother using Coles online even if they offers free shipping for any order. No fail they get orders wrong and the time to have to call up and go back to exchange just isn't worth the hassle and defeats the purpose of a "convient shopping experience" they say it's provides in the first place.

If anyone was thinking about using Coles online instead of actually going to a store to do ur weekly shop - don't!! Save urself the pain in the ass

  • Can't wait for something similar to be posted again tomorrow.

  • I always seem to only see the vouchers on vanilla - my most disliked flavour.

  • For those in Sydney, you could cash in on the Amex Vivid deal as well on conjunction with these vouchers if you claim fast enough.

    • Can you link to this Amex vivid deal please?

        Username doesn't check out

    • I would have credited you buddy but I never saw your original comment until now…but kudos for pointing it out !! These are much better than those disgusting biscuits, I would have thrown them out & just taken the vouchers.

  • Is there a minimum spend or anything like that for when we redeem the voucher?

  • What's the sugar/fat content like in these compared to the weetbix go biscuits?

    • Full of sugar

Coles has listed out the nutrition content on their website

  • are they discounting chocolate or just vanilla flavours?

    • +2

i think all of them are discounted.

    • Just came back from Coles. $5 for all 6-packs (choc ice, vanilla, strawberry, banana, energise)

  • Does anyone know when the discount finishes? I'm keen to grab some of these, but can't get to coles for a couple of days!

Oh Ozbargain, the skills I have learnt from you are amazing.

    1. Use $25 (of $100) of my free coles gift card I got for opening an ANZ transaction account and get $50 voucher
    2. Register my 2 free Amex Cards for the Rebel cashback deal. Spend $140 get $40 back.
    3. Buy Fitbit Charge 2 for $198 from Rebel Sport. $50 free voucher + $140 - $40 cashback = $100
    4. Redeem Amex Platinum Edge points as credit for the $100.

Yay Free Fitbit Charge 2 that I want to buy anyway =)

*Step 5: Sell 5 packs of Up & Go to fellow Ober for $10. PM me if you're interested so I can get the right flavour

    • +2

      Will you marry me?

      • +1

Depends, how many AMEX cards do you have?

    • Did you have to spend an extra $50 because of the voucher or does the Amex deal allow you to spend $140 still

      • +1

the amex deal was/is spend $70 and get $20 cash back. So i used 2 cards to spend $140 to get $40 back. there's no need to spend more

  • Thank you for posting this. We usually buy about 20x6pk every few months when they are on special so this is perfect.
Now to try and claim 20x10 voucher

    • how often do you they go to special at woolies and coles?

  • +1

And this is how Rebel Sports goes out of business xD

  • Woolworths has 3 packs for $2.50 each.

  • Does anyone have a spare code laying around? I need 2 more codes for $50 :(

    • +2
