    I have one, got it when they were like $20 so it was cheap and it works. Just doesn't have all the nifty smart charger features ie. desulfation, soft start charging, trickle/maintenance charging. So you need to keep an eye on the battery and make sure you disconnect when it's charged. Mostly good maybe for topping up charge on a car that doesn't get used much.

    If you do alot of battery charging like for fishing or camping may be worth to get a smart charger such as the 8 amp Repco one for $109. I ended up also buying a SCA 7 stage 6 amp charger when it was $70 down from $130 or so. Might save buying twice.

    Also, looks like a fairly uninspiring catalogue this time round.

      Fair enough. I've had to cease my oil purchases for the time being after realising I'm probably loaded for the next 3 years :)
