This is a continuation in a way on this post and thanks to Zyzz for pointing it out. I felt the deal was damn good and worth it's own mention rather than as a comment to another deal (which to be honest wasn't really a deal as they were all freebies usually anyhow)

According to Amazon's T&Cs, when you buy a paperback or hardcover graphic novel you will receive a free Marvel comic graphic novel. However, it seems that this works when you buy any comic, even a free one. It's been confirmed to work with Transformers All Hail Megatron #1 and Avengers Ft. Hulk & Nova #4

In short
Step 1 - download a free comic from here
Step 2 - wait for an email from Amazon telling you about the deal
Step 3 - Download your free comic here

You can also read your Amazon comics through Comixology.

  • I get "This title is currently not available for purchase" for every title. Is this only for US accounts?

    • Yep.. I'll edit to make it clearer

    • i didn't have a problem with getting this on amazon.com

  • My Amazon account is linked to Kindle UK. How do you switch your Kindle UK to Kindle US?

  • Accidentally signed up to Kindle unlimited (7 days).
    How do I cancel it?

  • Do you actually need a kindle for this? My account is US and when I get to what device I want it on, I can't select "kindle cloud reader", it's greyed out.

    • Tip for others: you need the kindle app installed on your device, not just the amazon store.

    • Aaaand after I managed to get 6 comics or so:
"You attempted to purchase an item while in a different country than listed on your Amazon account."

Do i need to vpn to USA to fool it?

    • No you don't. As mentioned in the OP, comics you buy on Amazon can also be viewed through the Comixology app.

      • I was talking about the actual purchasing of the comics which I did manage to sort with a VPN, but yeah can view them without one.

  • +2

Nice. Got the Dark Phoenix Saga for free.

Got the email but was concerned that I still saw prices (and not free) for that range. I removed my credit cards just to be sure, clicked on "Buy now with 1 Click" and it worked, and got confirmation that there was no charge for that.

    Thanks for sharing !

  • Worked for me, thanks OP.
