Thanks to tightarse earlier post I just got myself an extra dash cam.

If you are in a market for one I would recommend this dashcam(Of course before you go ahead and purchase one) do your research first to see if it will suit your needs.

        The S is a Sony sensor and performs better at night. Your also want the new version with the new connectors.

  How does the hardwire kit work? You patch it straight into the fusebox? And then is it the smart type that it won't drain the battery or will shut off before the battery is drained? So this will be recording 24/7?

      Really? It won't auto turn off with the car? I think the block it comes with has a low voltage detector (not 100% sure what that even means TBH)?

        Use a fuse adapter in a slot that is only active when acc or ign is on if you want to save your battery.
