$199 on BingLee eBay, $189 using the $10 off code C&C

    • -1

C&C no longer an option on this deal.
Also says "Doesn't post to Australia"

Click on "See details" to see what that means and it pops up with
      Posting to: Australia
Excludes: Adelaide Metro, Northern Territory, NSW Regional, Perth Metro, QLD Far North, QLD Regional, QLD South East, SA Regional, Tasmania, VIC Regional, WA Regional, WA Remote, PO Box

Is this Bing Lee's way of saying they sold the 3 they had in their Ebay store?

Works fine for me. Shows as in stock at all 10 closest stores in the list for C&C

        • Suggesting nothing in terms of stock in Canberra then. Must link off ebay address postcode.

In that case I stand corrected, with thanks.

      • works fine for me too. I bought one yesterday shipped(no C&C stock available around my area) but today it appears in stock in every Bing lee around me!

I called Yamaha and have been told that the YAS-107b is available end of July. Seems like a cosmetic change only based on my quick search

wow, they really aren't gonna let go off BT 2.1 are they? my yas-105 has BT2.1 and yas-107 still has only BT2.1 :|

    • I did some further snooping and the specs mentioned might not be entirely accurate. For example, check YAS-107 Media Library. If you examine 'Gallery Collection 6' and zoom in on the huge JPEG file, you can see the YAS-107 now includes DTS Virtual:X. They haven't mentioned this is the specs on the AV Gear Shop sheet even though when Yamaha recently announced the YAS-207 they went crazy mentioning its inclusion. So it's possible that the spec info is simply the old 106 summary with someone cutting and pasting YAS-107 wherever YAS-106 was, rather than something supplied by Yamaha, and that the new 107 includes an updated spec, possibly including Bluetooth. Of course, that's just me speculating, but I'm bored.

I recently picked up a YAS-106 and like it. An extra $150 for a better virtual surround system isn't worth it to me. Perhaps if they included Dolby Atmos I would have waited.

Just got my delivery of the yas-106b from Betta. Really impressed.

The quality is always fantastic when you're listening through the Yamaha yas-106 soundbar. The thing that stood out to me is the sound in the speakers really shows and distinguishes those sounds very very well. I love the Yamaha yas-106 soundbar. One of the things I look forward to when I come home is actually being able to sit on the couch in front of my Yamaha yas-106 soundbar.
