  • alright price not exactly cheap

  • Some indicative prices.

The cheapest one with twin lens kit there is the same as this.

  • Note the D3000 will be replaced by the D3100 expected to be available by October hence the run-out price. The D3100 is a significant upgrade from the D3000, the most notable is full 1080p video recording @ 24fps - a first for the entry level DSLR class from Nikon. If you don't care about video at all and/or budget is a concern, then the D3000 could be worth having a look at for a P&S user looking to step up to their first DSLR - just note that it will be replaced very soon.

    • the cmos sensor(in d3100) makes a big difference in low light

  • for those interested Office works has the single lens kit for $649 and im pretty sure you can also get the $50 cash back on it = $599. that will save you over $150 which you can spend on other accessories and lenses. bear in mind i don't know how much lenses cost but just in case anyone is interested in the single lense to save some coin.
