  • this actually looks like a boys model.

  • Used to have one. Loved it and wore it for about two years until the strap gave out (just like the review states). It was going to cost more to replace the band than I paid for the watch so I turfed it. Didn't get another one because it's not really great value if you have to buy a new one every couple of years. So if you buy one and the same thing happens to you, don't say I didn't warn you.

    • Thanks for the feedback.

I believe that with the module number of the Casio W96H mentioned interchangeably with the Casio W800H-1AV, the straps would be same given that they're very similar in appearance. I'd check with the seller before buying, but these can be had for around $10 on eBay.

Nonetheless, straps are a commonly quoted problem with the Casio classics.

Oh i dunno OP, here's an amazing price at watchdirect.com.au, and then there's Westfield.

BTW Amazon has limited sales to only one per account.

    • That's robbery in broad daylight.

Got a jaw dropping reaction from my local Bevilles saleswoman after I showed her the deal. She suggested it could be fake and that she wouldn't be able to match the price - hah!

Don't suppose many of these retailers will specially be stocking Casio after Amazon lands in Oz.

  • this or the mission impossible watch?

Wearing one now, had it for about 2 odd years with no signs it's going to give up anytime soon. Got it for $30 off a cheap eBay seller, so this seems like a good deal.
