  • So I've gone over the terms & conditions and I can't see why the following wouldn't work. (Although I am a bit hung-over so I might be missing something obvious here.)

    • I make the first purchase of more than $50 and get a discount coupon.
    • I go back the next day and make another purchase of more than $70, use the coupon, new total is $50+ and get another discount coupon.
    • I go back the next day …

So as long as each purchase is more than $70 and then when I use the discount coupon it brings the total to more than $50, I will get another discount coupon.
    Which works out at 28.57% off on a $70 purchase, 25% off on a $80 purchase, 20% off on a $100 purchase, …

The only problem I can see is the statement "The coupon is redeemable for a maximum $20 discount …" - not sure what this maximum is or how this maximum is determined.

After trying this out over the last two days, I can now report that it does work for ABC/BBC/HBO purchases.

So once you have your first $20 off coupon, for any subsequent ABC/BBC/HBO purchase that totals $70 or more and you use the coupon, you will get $20 off that purchase plus another $20 off coupon.

The only caveat is that you can't use the voucher on the same day it was issued. So for multiple $70 purchases you have to do them on separate days. 😤

BTW: The maximum $20 discount mentioned in the T&C is for purchases less than $20. That means if you buy something for, say $15, and use a $20 off coupon you won't get back $5 or even $5 credit.

FYI: As yet unconfirmed, but I was advised by staff that JB are having a one day only 20% off DVD & Blu-Ray sale tomorrow Wednesday 7 June. Unfortunately this doesn't include the already discounted 20% off ABC/BBC/HBO sale. 🤔
