Reviews says that these are very uncomfortable.

Even if this had a 90% discount, it would not be a bargain.

    • +2

I'd buy that for a dollar.

      • +1

That would require a 99.26% discount

All you beats haters - have never owned a pair of beats.

Tried a pair of studio 2.0s and the sound balance was horrible. This led to two options; they were either broken or designed that way - I assumed the latter.

When i bought my Studio Beats for 599 over 10 years ago they were the best product in the market. They required triple A batteries to power the built in amp.

Then, like 3 years later, the market was infiltrated with at least 100 different brands selling there headphones.

And Yes, 3 years after the initial release of beats, there were sub 200 dollars products better then my 599 Studio beats.

Beats maintained there high price during this period and somewhat fell out of peoples favour.

Conclusion: If it wasn't for beats releasing such goods products back then, we wouldn't have all the options we have today.

Wow not sure if a troll or really ignorant because that is complete garbage! (also unfortunately owned a pair of Beats Pro Detox Editions)

Cool story Bro would read again

Also learn the difference between their and there

          Wow…

          Sennheiser - formed in 1945
          Beyerdynamic - 1924
          Sony - 1946
          AKG - 1947

etc. etc. You get the point.

        • As someone who's been freelance DJing since the early 90s I have to say this is one of the biggest loads of garbage I have read on OzBargain and I sure hope you're just trolling for giggles? If not, congrats you just made someone's marketing dream come true :)

        • @Benno123:

          Fools.

Beats mainstreamed headphones. Im 33, not 23.

        • @Benno123:

And why hasn't apple offered 3 billion for Sennheiser?

        • +1

@chingy213: So headphones weren't mainstream until beats made them? are your sure your 33 not 13?

Also, you ever heard of the sony walkman? they had headphones, but that wasn't mainstream riiiiight

Next you're going to tell me Apple mainstreamed mobiles……….

        • @chingy213:

          I'm actually embarrassed for you

        • @chingy213: Beats mainstreamed marketing headphones, not making good ones. There's a massive difference. To think that Beats are anything more than an exercise in marketing is naive.

I will concede I have never owned a pair… However, I have tried them, both in stores and borrowed from friends. I am by no means an audiophile so I can't be too nit-picky with sound, but these are not good headphones. The bass is way way too much for any reasonable person to bear (I'm assuming they did this on purpose as it is the same with all beats I have tried), the weight is weirdly balanced across the headphones, the noise-cancelling is pretty much non-existent and they bleed sound like nothing else. I guess the sound bleeding is so everybody on your train can hear your sik beatz.

Also the build quality is pretty poor for something that expensive (look to Bose QC's for good build quality).

And let's not forget the "weights" issue where a teardown of a pair of beats showed that they had used weights to make them feel more "premium"

All you beats haters - will never own a pair of beats (because you're smart with your money)

    • Of course, beats haters will never own a pair of beats. Your point is?

Would prefer the 'Beats By Ray' fakes I saw in Thailand…

    Give BB8 his beats back

  • When i think audio enthusiasts and professionals… Not to mention industrial strenght…

    I think beats.
