Best Prepaid Mobile Option for ~$20 with more than 2GB?

Hey all,

Currently using Coles prepaid mobile, $20 2GB for 28 days, unlimited calls and texts. Wanting to know if there is anything at the same price point with more data, or for a longer duration (e.g, $40 for 60 days with 5GB)

3 of my last 4 recharges, I still had data left but this current month I'm almost through.

Thanks =)

Kogan - but you have to pay 1 year upfront

They have a few plans on sale for you to check out but probably the 5GB per month for 30 days with unlimited calls and text. Works out to be $16.90/Month ($205.58 Yearly). Think the deal ends at the end of this month - Kogan mobile.

They are on the Voda network. I ported over from Optus to them and it took 20 mins.

    • Plus to this, Kogan (voda) network could improve though but as I live in metro area they're not a bad choice.

    • I m already considering it

    • +1 for Kogan. There's no more $1 plans for the first month but you can still purchase a 365 recharge with 25-40% off . Also don't forget to grab someone's referral code for Kogan for $10 credit to both parties and link your Qantas Frequent Flyer card if you have one.

    • I currently use kogan, actually really great. Support is a bit of a disaster however if you are somewhat techsavy this won't be an issue.
Really disappointed they rearranged their plans, I was on a 2GB a month plan and it was perfect now I am stuck between going on a 5GB or a 1GB, no happy medium :(

  • Or Lebara https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/310082
but you have to pay 1 year upfront as Kogan

Telechoice. $18 per month, 2GB, unlimited calls and text. They're with Telstra

    • Hmm. More options?

  • Lebara National Plan – $29.90 . $7.90 for first 30 days.

The 30 Day SIM Pack offers Unlimited Talk, Text & MMS in Australia, $5 overseas call credit + 5GB data PLUS the opportunity to boost your monthly data with an extra 5GB when you renew your plan automatically*. That's 10GB each time your plan renews before 30/09/17.

        • @KitchenSink: your PM setting is off mate.

why cant you just post it here rather than have a secret club, share your knowledge

      • Hi Archi, as pm-ed there are some contents from another section of this forum that is not allowed to be mentioned outside that section. Basically there are 4 steps to save, 2 of them include through Qantas points and Velocity/Flybuys points.

    • Please can you pm me the trick too! Thank you!

  • Thanks all!
