So I bought one of the Harrington jackets (blue) from the website deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/311864) the other day.

Was at Costco Ringwood this afternoon, and they had a couple of racks of Ben Sherman gear. Note that the photo doesn't show the Harrington jackets which were on the lower rack, but it does show the price $49.98. Heaps of colours and sizes all there.

Yes, you do need a Costco membership for this price. Yes, I agree in general it's not worth the money. Feel free to complain about it in the comments, since it's inevitable with any Costco deal.

Anyway, now that I've actually seen and tried on the Harrington jacket, I fail to see what the big deal is about, personally. It's stylish if you're Steve McQueen, for anyone else it just looks like you got your weird uncle's hand-me-down from the 70s. Or maybe I'm just too old and fat, which I entirely admit to. Will be returning my online order when received - cool story bro right?

    "It's a different jacket altogether. 100% Nylon outside and polyester inside, no cotton whatsoever.

    So it feels like wearing a plastic bag. Pros is that its packable, probably a bit of a windbreaker and its good value I guess."

    good to know. shame there isn't a way to cancel the order online. they are also taking their sweet time shipping it as I have yet to receive any shipping info.

      Best to try one yourself with a mirror. They look ugly when zipped imo https://goo.gl/IHcOmu + I don't like my clothes flapping in the wind.

    I just bought one from Costco about 6 weeks ago. Yes, the material is Nylon and polyester not cotton. Not good for winter.

    Just a heads up, I saw these at Costco a few weeks ago and they had the Ben Sherman logo on the left chest area, its not the same one as the one from the other deal which is the more popular version without the logo

    Bought one from the other deal as i have wanted a Harrington jacket for a long time.

    Went into cosco to try these on, not the same. Feel like I'm wearing a raincoat in the Harrington jacket style.

    In the US they quite commonly make cheaper products (you know - same, same but different) to sell specifically at outlet malls.
