Costco Membership Cancelled - Am I Still Covered with Warranty?

Does anyone know if I purchased a TV and other stuff from Costco and refunded the membership, is my TV still covered with warranty when it breaks down?

    Membership, not Membeeship. The warranty should remain valid because of your rights, not membership.

    Remember to show your card if you go instore 😏

      Only necessary if you're female.

    Yep, as PJC said still has warranty, but it wont be covered by Costco's lifetime return policy.

      The Costco lifetime return policy can sometimes be proven to be BS.

      There will still be a statutory warranty as per the applications of the ACL and you would still have the right to return the goods to the place of purchase should something go wrong.

      But you won't be able to purchase anything from Costco nor enter the warehouse (except for the Service Desk) without a current membership.

        I think that sucks, I was thinking of joining Costco but wasn't sure if it was worth it so I thought I'd go in and check it out, ain't happening now.

          Not worth it, honestly.

          Not unless the membership prices become <$15.

          @Kangal: thanks :)

    • But should still be covered by 12months Costco Warrenty as by law you have proof of purchase.

  • You are covered by manufacturers warranty regardless.

    One of the benefits of Costco membership is the excellent return policy, in addition to whatever warranty you have.

    I believe you can just renew your membership when you need to return something.
