Bundle with Amex Spend $40, Statement Credit $10.

  • Make sure ya don't buy fuel on Tuesday. I miss the old days of Wednesday being cheapest.

    • Why? It's now Monday that's the cheap day. Means by the weekend fuel has gone down rather than still being right next the top of the cycle.

But yeah, this makes sense to try and entice people to go to BP on the most expensive day for fuel.

      • Monday mornin' feels so bad

and it doesn't get much better later in the day.

        Wednesday was better!

        • Haha true.. I forgot a lot when it's Monday, then look at the fuel gauge Tuesday morning and go 's***'. But it is better for if you want to head away on the weekend!

    • It baffles me how the 'cheap day' could change with numerous independent companies

      • I remember when it originally changed from the Wednesday cycle and it was all over the place for a few weeks, then finally settled on the Monday. It is strange that there's apparently no 'collusion' being found, when clearly there is.

Then again I'd much rather a predictable price cycle, as well as Fuelwatch, than what happens everywhere else where prices can change multiple times a day and the cycle can last weeks.

  • Do I need to dress as a tradie to get this deal?

    • Well, I don't think they'd appreciate your usual birthday suit… Yeah I've heard the stories!

Just got a oak drink for $2 and I was in smart casual gear.
Next time I'm going to find out if I could get a frozen sausage roll instead!
