I just got this advert in my email, BP Plus are offering $250 as a giftcard (code "FOR ME")or $250 credited to your BP Plus account (code "FOR BUSINESS").

Now I know this isnt going to be for the average person, but if you have an ABN number… your good to go…

I rang BP up to find out more details… there is a $4.95 per card (for 1 - 2 cards) monthly charge… you can cancel this at anytime without incuring any costs. theres no min spend, or spend anything to use the credit.

I've signed up and if approved I'll use the dosh up and then cancel.

    5 x 12 = 60.00 so approx $60.00 per year to maintain the card ? regardless of the 250 credit is this really good value ?

    This promotion is 1 month old. am quite sure they got 1000 applications by now.

      Yeah I noticed that's a month old as well - Have to weigh up the hassle and possible $5 charge vesus possible $250.

    $5 gamble for $250 pay off - given that Ozbargainers go crazy over a 90c skype credit … anythings possible

    And then there's the $5 rebate on a box of $10 prawns limited to the first 1000.

    I just rang BP…. and there are still $250 credits going….. guy was unable to tell me how many… so its a case of put your $5 where your mouth is! lol

    Also… you quailfy for the credit at the time its processed.. not when you do the enrolment on the webpage…

    What's worrying is Firefox could not verify site's certificate. Ok with IE.

    My membership was approved.. but didnt hear anything about the bonus fuel card

    Mine was approved as well with no mention of the $250 credit/gift card. I called to enquire and they said I was going to get it but that it may not arrive until the end of the year. So might be costing me 3 x $5 ….. but still a great deal!

    I got a letter asking for a BANK guarantee … to which I was a bit suprised about!

    I put mine in after your post on the 16th Davo … so hopefully yours is on the way too. When I rang to enquire if I would be eligible for the $250 (FOR ME) after receiving the approval letter, I also ordered a card (it doesn't happen automatically), so maybe that sped things up? Good luck! I had no dramas with the BANK side of things Bonky … just filled out the online details with my bank account info. Don't know what the guarantee business is all about … is your credit history ok?

      ok rang up a few stores.. most of the them dont even do BP plus card. Only store I found that could do it offered a 15% off discount ($149 ER300 tyre down to $130).

    Has anyone tried their 'ultimate' fuel?

      Yep, got my $250 credit too. When does a purchase show on the website. As I did a purchase today and it has not shown any transaction on the site yet? Strange.

      I tried ultimate fuel today, I assume it's just the same as Optimax as shell or other similar premium fuels. I think basically they up the octane rating and pump in a few fuel cleaners/engine lubricants.
