Xiaomi Mi5s has been reduced to $334 delivered. Very well specd phone with great camera.
No band 28, no biggy for most.

    I'd probably save the $60 and get the Mi5 to be honest. Hardly any difference excel tiny bump in CPU and the 820 in the Mi5 is a beast anyway.

  How about that rom? I wanted to buy one and started to read. Apparently lots of shops are adding their own malware ROM and making it very hard to change (blocking things). Basically every single one said tat you are loosing warranty if ROM is changed. Is it the case here?

  edit: ok, checked myself. "Official global ROM with Multi-language and google play store will be installed". Rare thing!

      Not many 3rd party ROMS for Mi5S, most only for Mi5.

        Good call; more reason to go with the Mi5. I think i heard that the camera is actually WORSE in the Mi5S after the changes from the Mi5. I'd have to dig around to find that source though.

  I was the owner of 4GB Ram version but sold it as I couldn't put up with finger scanner. As far as I know Xiaomi has done nothing to fix it. This is a worst finger scanner you can only imagine. At some point you will stop using it as you will simply give up and start unlocking the phone old fashion way.

    My finger print scanner works fine, only time it doesn't work is the very first time after you turned the phone on or when your finger is moist (after you washed your hand). Compare to S7 the hit and miss rate is about the same.
