Logix Platinum Dishwashing Tablets 100 Pack $14.99, Trimat 5kg Washing Powder - $14.99 @ ALDI (1/7/17 Specials)

80

Same product as this deal: ALDI Logix Platinum Dishwashing Tablets 60 Pack $9.99

but slightly cheaper buying them in a 100 pack!

Great cleaning results I've found with these tablets. In my experience better than Finish.

Only downside to buying these bulk packs over the regular 40 pack/$7.99 price is they don't come with dissolvable wrappers. Apart from that they are same.

ALDI Trimat 5kg Washing Powder - $14.99 1/7/17 Specials

Great value for a great product.

Normally 1.5kg is $5.99. This works out at $3.00 per kg.

Regular and Sensitive versions available. Suitable for both Front and Top Loaders.

Trimat is the same for Top and Front loader, it just shows that Front loaders wash better than Top loaders in general.

      • Yeah, huge difference between the 2. Never knew one kind of machine washed better than the other. Wonder why that is?

Personally we use the Almat and seems good. I'm keen to test using no detergent to see how the results are on my top loader.

Top loaders just spin clothes sideways in water, sometimes with an agitator (abrasive).

Front loaders pick the clothes up gently and drop them back through the water - more effective at dirt removal and more gentle at the same time, less pilling of material.

@placard: I find top loaders are gentler (we no longer get holes in our clothes after switching) & wash better then front loaders (being able to soak is a big plus). They're also much quicker (~2hrs vs 45mins). But they use much more water, but less usually power.

        • @supabrudda: Sadly, not everyone has your magical top-loader, so we all have the usual results.

      • No what it actually shows is the compromise made in the detergent product , its optimised for fl being low sudsing and then you therfore get a reduced wash performance in the tl

Sadly moat detergents on the market have gone dual purpose top and front

Are the logix any good the cheap costco tablets are very average

    • I found about the same. But I find the Kirklands tabs excellent. You probaby need to use the top end Finish tab.

Yeh I use kirklands. Most likely won't buy again even if they ridiculously cheap. Much more impressed with the finish powerballs

  • Ive used the logix tablets before they are ok, but I prefer Finish or Fairy. But for the price they are good.
