I signed up to the flybuy's 'Virgin explore Gold' promotion a couple of month ago. I would like some cheap flights that can allow me to gain 75 SC as cheaply as possible. I know the about the 'Family Pooling' Status credit option but my family are too busy to travel with me. What are some flight options that can allow me to keep the gold status for another year?

I travel interstate regularly for work. It's just that I can't get enough SC by September. The extra baggage and other perks like front row seat selection and lounge access just make my life easier :)

You don't get row 3 for free anymore or the exit rows. They are economy X now.
Row 4 and 5 have extra leg room now too (part of Economy X too).
Platinum still get this for free if they haven't been sold to the peasants.
Only benefit of gold is luggage, lounge access and a guest to the lounge.
Being platinum doesn't really give you crap with Virgin anymore other than 3 guests to the lounge. Bit of a slap in the face.
never looked into VFF we always use Qantas
but this will work out what you need and if they are like some other airlines be sure first some booking classes are worth nothing

Do you really need it? Just sounds like an expenditure without justification.
