Was just about to post this as a deal so i'll add this missing info:

To receive a BOGOF burger deal you need to…

    • Share or Like this post and show the Facebook post on your phone to the waiter/waitress before you place your order
    • You also need to order an alcoholic OR non-alcoholic beverage

The free burger must be of equal or lesser value and the offer can't be used in conjunction with any other offer, including Entertainment Book vouchers.

(profanity) I hate the discrimination. "If you dont use facebook you miss out".
Last deal that did this I made them wait while the app downloaded, I made a fake account, liked the post, then deleted the account. lol

      • +6

Can't you just keep a spare account handy? You can deactivate and reactivate when needed.
No need to torture the wait staff who are just doing their jobs and giving you free stuff, you know.

        • -1

Yeah I don't get what point you're trying to prove there. Just keep an account for this purpose…
Or just gotten a screenshot of the post liked and shown that lol… 👍

        • Yeah I don't get what point you're trying to prove there

"How to be a dick in 3 easy steps".

        • @smartazz104:

          Exactly this :)
"I wont sign up for facebook" vs "I wont push this consequence free button".
I'm usually the more petty and stubborn of the two :P

If they don't accept "I don't have facebook, but I can show you I like your shop", then meh.
It doesn't cost the wait staff anything to hit that button, they have the power to make the pain stop :P

          For laughs,
I was actually talking to a Lawyer about similar things (he's a mate, I didn't go and hire someone).

The term "Like" (and Share) is too much a part of common vernacular to ever end up owned by Facebook.

He said it'd actually by a very easy case (if it was worth bothering with….clearly a burger isn't, lol).

If their page is public, so I can see that post, or if someone had a photo, I can verbally say:
          "Gee, I Like that post!"
          I've then fulfilled the requirement.

          Ditto with Share;
          If I show the person next to me the phone screen, or even describe it;
          I've fulfilled that requirement also.

There will probably never be a deal that's worth suing over :P
          I just found it entertaining.
I just enjoy legal loopholes. Probably because I love arguing.
To quote Futurama "You're TECHNICALLY right….. which is the best type of right!" lol

        • @MasterScythe:

You must be fun at parties…

  • if we have four guests would like to order 4 burgers, can we get 2 burgers free with 2 drink order & show them 2 facebook like?

    • This scenario crossed my mind too. My guess is yes you can

  • +1

Thanks! I got confirmed from their Facebook. Need to show 2 Facebook like & all guests need to order drink too.

    • +1

Hang on, ALL guests need to order a drink? From what i've read it was 1 drink purchase per deal.

EDIT: Looks like they have updated their Facebook post to say "Per Person"

      • So if my friend didn't order the drink, he can only watch me eat the two burgers? Nice

  • +3

Is it not misleading? In fact its 1 burger free only when you buy (1 burger AND 1 drink).

  • State(s) in title please, this isn't a nationwide deal.

  • The burgers are better at Hungry Jacks

    • +1

Not when they microwave thier burgers. The last 3 occasions my whoppers were microwaved : (

      • So you saw them microwaving your burger?

  • +2

Ps, the cheapest burgers they have is $18.5

    • Nearly $20 for the cheapest burger! They better be good

  • Their burgers are alright but not great. Their drinks are also pretty expensive but if you're going to have a burger and a drink anyway then this isn't a bad deal.

  • Just went today and must order 2 drinks. Ended up having the lunch special which we thought was better value.

Went to Jam Factory and Fountain Gates. Preferably, Fountain Gates. Services were excellent, waited around 40 minutes or more for the meal? The food were made fresh BUT its so dry. Burgers need to be juicy, with those fatty oils dripping. Those burgers and chips are really dry to the max. Yup, not a single drop. Therefore, My feedback review 2.5 or maybe 3 out of 5.

My advise, for roughly $40 for 2, might as well go to Nandos special $12 for burger + sides —> would be faster 40 minutes wait.
