Full Frame Mirrorless Advice

I'm on the prowl for a good mirrorless frull frame deal tomorrow with a solid discount code from ebay.

I am going overseas next month so I am also going to take advantage of the extra 10% off from TRS

Any suggestions for a good value kit? (I have mainly been considering a fijifilm xt2 or a sony a7ii)

Don't know of any kits but I know Sony has a promo for EFTPOS gift cards on certain cameras and lenses. See here.

The A7ii is on the list so buy from a reputable seller that is a proper dealer for the promo to work like Teds ebay or DigiDirect on eBay.

Also the Sony A6300/6500 are also good cameras very similar to the Fuji with an APS-C sensor and 4K recording. Only the A7ii is full frame between them and I have this model. Great cam.

    • How much have you sunk on lenses with the A7ii?

I've got an A6000 for the last 3 years and quite like it, but been tossing up whether to move to full frame, however its quite a significant outlay (once including lenses) for a hobby.

      • Just bought the FE 16-35 f4 a few days ago with the ebay 15% off + promo from digidirect. Scored a huge bargain.

So I got 4 lenses now, but thinking of selling 1 or 2 to fund another expensive one like the 70-200 f4. GM variants are too expensive for me.

I've been thinking of moving up to the A7RII but there's rumors of the A7mIII which is why I've held off. The A7ii is almost/is 3 years old.

If you have a lot of lenses for the A6000, better to stay with that ecosystem I think then move to another one like the Fuji unless you want to sell it all and move. The lenes for the A6000 fit the a7 (same E mount) but you get a small vignette in images but easily corrected by post

        • I've spent about $1k on lenses - not the worst of outlays and could probably get at least half back if I wanted to sell. I dunno if any I'd want to keep with a full frame camera - seems like I'd be limiting the benefit of moving to full frame in the first place.
