    $399 32" no dvd though

  • I agree but the smaller TV with the DVD is perfect for a bedroom, especially for kids who love movies.

  • I wouldn't mind it in the study myself

Good luck studying in there with a TV haha =)

      • …add a games console and you're all set for hours of endless "study" :p

You'd be better off bidding on one of these

They've got bigger screens but have an LED panel so are thinner, lighter, brighter and more energy efficient.

Including shipping you can get a 22" for around $300 and a 24" between $300-$400 depending on if you're lucky.

    I've got a 24" one myself and it's great.

    • With $77 shipping to Perth? Pass.

That one ended for $255 + $65 shipping to Perth = $320. So you're telling me that's not a better deal than a DSE 21" with an LCD panel?

Also, there's no mention of the DSE tv having a built in HD digital tuner. It could very well have just a SD tuner, whereas this Vision has an HD tuner. So the Vision has everything the DSE has but more.

You can expect the DSE to be as thick as this with its LCD panel

whereas the Vision looks like this because of the LED panel

Considering most people here don't live in Perth, your opinion doesn't reflect everyone since shipping to the eastern states is cheaper.

Sure, if you don't have the patience to score a good deal on ebay, then fine, waste your money on the DSE..

        • You can expect the DSE to be as thick as this with its LCD panel

Thickness (or thinness) is a mute point unless your mounting it on a wall.
The stand of both the DSE and Vision TV look about the same size ;)

    • nah you not no guarantee

      • I 'not no guarantee'? Do you mean warranty? All of them come with a 1 year warranty. They're a registered business just like DSE. I don't know what you're talking about.

  • 21" is a great size for the loo.

    • lol, who the hell has a TV in the toilet?!

      • for the one that takes a lot time to get it out.. :P

  • Can anyone confirm if this plays DivX or MKV movies via the USB?

    • I highly doubt it. At least not MKV.
