For those who want to compare the price to the usual Woolworths 8 pack deals, it is equivalent to an 8 pack for $3.11
The Woolworths specials (when they have them ) are usually $3.50 each or 3 for $10 ($3.33 each)

    • Quality wise are they are the same? So what you mean is Quilton on special is cheaper than Woolies equivalent?

    $0.2046783625730994 per hundread sheets

      Yer sheetin' me!

    • I can get it for $0.2046783625730993 per hundred sheets.

  • Good price, cheaper than Coles regular everyday :

This is my favourite brand of TP. It doesn't fall apart in your ass like some of the "fluffy" brands do.

    • +7

Maybe let your donkey wipe it's own?

    • Have you tried Kleenex's Complete Clean? I haven't used Quilton since I started using those. Much tougher and feels just as soft.

  • +3

Still cheaper to get the Aldi 3 ply: https://www.aldi.com.au/en/groceries/home-of-the-lowest-pric…

I highly rate this Aldi 3 ply - it's strong, thick and very similar to Quilton.

Not similar to that gross Cottonelle furry type - which I don't like…

    • +1

Not really similar, and if it is the same price why not get the better Quilton instead. Don't forget to factor in 5% off eGiftcard and Amex points which you won't get at Aldi.

      • How is it not similar? Have you tried both?

        • Yes I have tried it. I tried the 2-ply one, Quilton is still softer.

          @samehada:

          Aldi's 2 ply version is crap…try the 3 ply one I linked!

        • @placard: It is the same type of paper just 1 ply more. At that asking price I'd rather stick with Quilton.

          @samehada:

In my experience, there's a huge difference between 2ply and 3ply at Aldi.

Each to their own, but I'm happy enough with Aldi all year round at the always low price, rather than waiting for a special.

          :)

  • If you have eGift card, you can save more.

  • The cheapest was the last sale from Coles about 2 weeks ago. Quilton 36-pack for $13.

    • Emporium 48 pack 3 ply for $15 from woolies was heaps good.

  • Hmmmm. Title says $24 but post says $34 for 6000mAh?

    • Probably a typo. Mods can probably fix

      • Please hit the report link in future and we can fix it up. (Just happened to be looking at this deal.)

          • Full stop in brackets must be outside.

JK Neil we love you. 😘😂

  • How does this compare to the 10000mAh ones on eBay with QC 2? Does QC even affect iPhones?

  • +2

Has anybody used these power packs? Are they OK?

I also noticed that the rose gold one is a model 6600. Does anybody know if this is actually 6600mAh (maybe you get more power if you're willing to put up with rose gold).

Clicked on this looking for in-depth discussion about the powerbanks.

90% of comments are about the toilet paper.

    • +4

This thread was initially just for the toilet paper. Then it was added to the title. The powerbanks were in another thread that was deleted. It's a crap deal anyway even @ "1/2 price".

      • They don't seem to be any cheaper on ebay. Are they just not good quality power banks?

        • +3

Compared to Xiaomi 10000mah that usually ranges from $20-25, they aren't good value.

        • @CVonC: Thanks for the advice. What's the best place to get the Xiaomi 10000mah from?

        • +2

          @brownbag:

Shopping Square is the cheapest but delivery times might be slow. There are other shops that will ship it quicker but of course cost more. Have a read through the threads here for purchase experiences.

        • @CVonC: that's what I was thinking looking at this deal. The powerbanks don't seem that good of a deal from what I remembered of right Mi prices.

        • @CVonC: Thanks.

        • @brownbag:

Where to get Xiaomi Power Banks legitamte since there are fakes out there:

          Locally

GearDo If you wanna support the locals
Mushtato is the same but slightly more expensive than Geardo from what I have seen.

Overseas: Basically forget that you bought the items and then they 'magically' arrive in your letter box.

          Banggood
          Gearbest
          Shopping Square

  • Shame Woolworths rewards vouchers won't work here…

  • Geeee…. didn't know toilet paper can generate so much discussion!!! ….must be a subject close to people's ar..!!!
