Advice on Toyota Hilux 4x4 SR5 Double-Cab Ute

Hi,

A friend is looking to buy a new Ute, and has been eyeing the Toyota Hilux for quite sometime now. Here is the exact model:

I wonder if any one has bought experiences this model recently?
What's general opinion about this model and any other alternative?
More importantly what's the best price we should aim to negotiate to?

      Yeah but dealers push hard for June deals. June and December are the best times for negotiating

  $54k is the advertised price, I wonder what's the price I can bring it down to?? $45ish??? Does Toyota do any discount for a specific profession or something?

    You won't get it much below 54 if at all. If you're a primary producer (farmer) you can get extras but you'll need proof for that
